Squash Republic is excited to announce that we have teamed up with World Squash Day to be the official supplier of merchandise for the 2019 event for Canada and the United States
World Squash Day (WSD) was launched by a group of squash friends following the 9/11 attacks in the USA and was created to honour the memories of players such as Derek Sword, a former Scottish junior international, who died in the attack. Since 2012 the event has grown exponentially. 40,000 players across the globe played on a single day in their memory in 2012.
World Squash Day then became a rally point for the Olympic bid process but continues now with the goal of introducing the game of squash to as many people as possible.

This year’s event takes place in squash courts around the globe on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Squash Republic will be supplying clubs across North America with official souvenir t-shirts with proceeds returning to the WSD team to further their goals for the following year.
