Fig14 - How NOT to boast in squash“How NOT to Boast” is an enhanced graphic from the book Squash Rackets. 1950. Rev. Ed. London: EP Publishing Limited, 1972.

This particular chap book – “Limp cover edition” – (8″ W x 5.25″ H closed and 17″ W x 5.25″ H open) is from a series of books subtitled “Know the Game (KTG)” and “Play the Game (PTG)”. Produced in collaboration with the Squash Rackets Association (UK).

From the introduction: “Finally, a word about the game in the U.S.A. and Canada where a somewhat different variety of squash is played. This makes serious competition between players of the two types of games difficult, but friendly matches take place frequently. The only serious competition is the Wolfe-Noel Cup which is competed for by the women of Great Britain and the U.S.A.”
